Amrut Indian Single Malt Collaboration: Discover Unique Flavors

Discover the Amrut Indian Single Malt Collaboration

Bardstown bourbon Company has done it again! Their Collaborative Series continues to impress with the 2024 launch of three exceptional whiskeys, starting with a unique partnership involving Amrut Indian single malt. This blend showcases the innovative spirit of both distilleries, creating a product that promises to excite your palate.

An Intriguing Blend of Cultures and Flavors

Amrut is known for pioneering Indian single malts, adhering to the time-honored Scotch regulations. Available in 44 countries, Amrut has made a name for itself on the global stage. For this particular collaboration, two straight Indiana rye whiskeys were aged in Amrut Indian Single Malt barrels for a remarkable 18 months, before being masterfully blended with aged Kentucky straight bourbons.

The Flavor Profile of Amrut Indian Single Malt Collaboration

The resulting liquid is nothing short of magical. Expect aromas and flavors of baked cherry, campfire, and vanilla, all wrapped up with hints of cinnamon and herbal tea. The palate experience is further enriched with notes of ginger and malt, making this a truly complex and enjoyable Whiskey.

Insights from the Experts

Dan Callaway, VP of product development at Bardstown Bourbon Company, had this to say about the collaboration: “Amrut is creating some beautiful liquid right now. Their use of malted barley, distilled and aged in a warm, humid climate, creates an interesting bridge between Scottish whisky and bourbon. It’s fascinating to see how our rye blend absorbed characteristics of both the peated and unpeated Amrut barrels, resulting in a unique depth of flavor and character. We then created a custom bourbon blend to join the finished rye and bring red fruit and rich caramel. The result is an authentic collaboration bursting with new flavors.”

Price and Availability

The Amrut Indian Single Malt Collaborative Series is bottled at 110 proof and will be available in limited quantities. The suggested retail price is $159.99 per 750-ml bottle, making it a premium addition to any whiskey collection.

What’s Next in the Collaborative Series?

Later this summer, Bardstown Bourbon Company will release a collaboration with Silver Oak, known for over 50 years of tradition in cabernet sauvignon aged exclusively in American Oak. This fall, keep an eye out for a partnership with Blackberry Farm, renowned for their brewery. Each collaboration continues to showcase Bardstown Bourbon Company’s commitment to innovation and quality.

Why Collaborations Matter

Collaborative efforts like these are vital for driving innovation within the industry.
